One To Watch: Georgia May Jagger

Jade may have the celebrity pals and Lizzie may have the model figure but, when it comes to the Jagger girls, it’s the little known Georgia May that has the to-die-for style…

A retrospective look at her outfits confirms this. Georgia May, the youngest daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, seems to have a knack for taking the latest trends and totally nailing them, be it body con, clashing colours, tartan or lace tights (which, FYI, she was wearing in April of this year, long before the trend took hold). Of course, it’s not hard to look good when you’ve inherited your mum’s thick, glossy hair and incredible figure as well as your father’s infamous pout, but credit where credit’s due – the girl knows how to put together a killer outfit.

Although she’s already followed in her mum and sister’s footsteps by doing a bit of modelling (for Dazed & Confused, no less), at just 16 years old (and only having just taken her GCSEs) Georgia’s still considering the road she might take. “I want to take photographs” she said in a recent interview, adding “and design[ing] the clothes, I am interested in that”.

We don’t know about you, but we’d definitely be interested in seeing anything this stylish bright young thing might design…

She’s stunning! Liking her style too, do you reckon she has a stylist or it’s a DIY job-y?? Either way, she works it.

Im sorry but i completely disagree! shes just another ‘i throwed this outfit together but didnt’ kind of girl… bit try hard if you ask me. But she is very pretty!

She’s lovely, she looks like Vanessa Paradis too!

Sometimes she looks brilliant (e.g. the yellow dress with lace tights, the red hat outfit and the purple dress looks nice) but sometimes she does look too try hard.. One to watch, deffo. πŸ™‚

Sorry, despite her pretty looks she does not look stylish at all. Totally swamped by her clothes. Get any cute girl in the street, take a photo of her, frame it nicely in a magazine and she’ll look much better than this! And to those who say she has her own individual style, perhaps you have not been out in the street lately. Everyone looks the same… thank you media for brainwashing us into thinking that “ultimate style” involves looking like one has just raided the local Oxfam store.

She’s 16 and considering this i think she looks great. She is gorgeous and i like to see a fellow gappy front tooth girl.

Ooh great, another pointless ‘celebrity’ who’s only famous for turning up to parties & having famous parents. Just what we needed!

I read an interview with her in the daily express or something a while ago and she came off really well i thought, quite normal and just nice. I like the stuff she’s wearing in these pictures, specially the tartan jacket – anyone know where its from???

money isn’t everything but it can buy you nice clothes a stylist and mean people think your fashionable and a ‘style leader’ when your not.

getting a bit sick of the current IT crowd at the moement asos…..surely theres someone who has more on their CV than mummy and daddy are loaded.

it’s wrong that i’d like to look like a 16yr old girl and i’ve got 10 years on her, she’s super cute!

Posted by: Claire | October 23, 2008 at 11:13 AM

Sure she’s very cute but I just can’t takes any of these SADs seriously. Maybe that’s wrong but they all look the same to me! As someone has said Oxfam Chic.
Plus I’m in my 20s and want to take style tips from women not girls barely out of private school.
I read somewhere that your average age is 23 so please ASOS stop trying to convince us that we should all look like pre-pubescent girls!!!

sorry guys but I actually think that every outfit is horrendous. No style. Since when did tight blue dress and chunky green peep toes become stylish? Or the 80’s style lipstick color choice. And a comb would be advisable… Really disliking the whole “the more u clash and wear clothes that don’t fit, the more stylish and trendy u are” fad that’s going through. She’d look better in skinny jeans and a simple top. And a hair trim..

Err, Nicola? How is 16 ‘pre-pubescent’!? Plus theyre only saying that shes ‘one to watch’, not that she’s the bee all and end all! Connie i agree with you, the jacket is lush – is it topshop perhaps?

Also you have to remember that some of us are 16 year old girls!

Do you not think it is offensive to turn your nose up at the way younger people dress!

I personally think that she is gorgeous and i would like to see all the people that have slated her outfits put an outfit together like that!

Its rare that someone can pull this look off and she can!

P.S. The shoes she is wearing with the purple dress are great!

…. Think the tartan jacket is Westwood?

My, all Mick’s daughters are so beautiful they could wear sacks and look great, but Georgia May’s youth lets her get away with these ultra hip looks – except the body-con frocks, which I just hate on anyone, even someone like her whose body is tiny and perfect! Love the scruffy hair.:)

I’m 16 too and thinks she has great dress sense, better than those Pixie/Peaches people. Anyway fashion is just another way to express ourselves so if she likes what she wears and looks good in it then she can wear what she wants xx
